Bust out your one piece ski suits and headbands, spandex and other retro ski gear and join in the fun!
Hot Dog Day is one of those legendary unsanctioned 'local' days that has no specific schedule or central event - just come along and enjoy the atmosphere and the party spirit!
Founded around 30+ years ago when a bunch of locals decided to dress up 'Hot Dog - The Movie' style and ski/party/soak up the spring sunshine at Fernie Alpine Resort, the event is now a firmly unofficial fixture on Fernie's spring event calendar.
Watch for after-party events at local bars - usually announced around the end of March.
