The Arts Station
Joey Kosolofski’s first solo show, entitled “Searching for a ground”, includes a collection of works from the past four years of his mountain living. Joey creates a balance between his past love of abstract and urban art, with a developing style that incorporates the natural beauty of vibrant mountain landscapes and scenery. This show features some of his previous abstract works along with his recent thought-provoking interpretation of some iconic views from the valley. It encourages the use of imagination to interpret his expressive art into a unique individual vision for each viewer. Kosolofski, a self-taught artist using a “no rules” approach with multiple techniques to present ideas onto canvas. Originally an abstract artist doing most of his painting for personal pleasure, Joey has broadened his approach. He continues his artistic exploration with openness to different ways of working, using various mediums on his canvas. Kosolofski also offers his expertise to create commercial commission pieces or custom canvas work. Gallery Reception on December 8th, 7-9pm
