SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 2ND:
4-6PM: Registration at The Park Place Lodge from 4-6PM.
All racers who are able to, to please pick up their race package and sign a waiver at this time to save time on race day and to understand race day proceedings.
SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 3RD
Outside Fernie Aquatic Centre:
8.30-9AM ONLY!: Late Registration for those who can't make it to Friday evening registration.
9.30AM: RACE BRIEFING: Compulsory Race Briefing will take place at the start line for all racers.
9.45AM: KIDS RACE START
10.00AM MASS ADULT START – whether Classic Team, Solo, Run only and Bike only. If you’re on a team, runners go first, then bikers.

The 8th Annual Fernie Tears & Gears. Run, bike or both. Kids 8+ categories and adults. Solo or team.
Catering to all ages and abilities, the race is a fun, competitive event. Racers can expect flats, climbs, and downhills on some of Fernie’s most fun singletrack trails. The race features solo, team, classic and kids categories.
RUN
A great loop through the Ridgemont trail network – utilizing Sidewinder, Queen V, Eric’s, R-Trail & Broken Derailer. Fast, flowy and fun.
Distance: 11.5km
Elevation: 341m
RIDE
A cross-country route through the Montane trails – utilizing Montane, Roots, Resurrection and Roots Extension. For bikers intermediate and up.
Distance: 16km
Elevation: 428m
YOUTH
After three years, this race has become the best part of the day! A fun 5km loop, same for running and biking, using the lower Ridgemont trail network. Options for solo or team, suitable for 8-14yrs. 12+ eligible to race in the Adult race.
