Tech Kootenay Cup Races #3 & #4

Description

The annual Kootenay Series returns to Fernie to race at the beautiful Elk Valley Nordic Centre.

There will be two days of races of up to 13km for all ages from 4 years to adult & masters.

This is the first of five nordic ski races organized in the Kootenay area during the season. 

The event is open to skiers of all ages and abilities. Memberships to any club are not required to take part. Participants from local clubs under the CCBC organization earn points for their club toward the Kootenay Cup which will be awarded at the end of the season. 

The classic ski technique is used on the first day and the free technique (skate ski) on the second day. Mor details coming soon!
