Description
3 days: March 26, 27, 28 9am-4pm Cost: $160 Ages: 6-11 In this camp, kids will work with the three primary colors and use wet on wet & wet on dry watercolor techniques. In wet on wet watercolor, because the wet paint is laid on wet paper, the colors flow, blending beautifully into one another in unexpected ways. Instead of mixing colors into jars, the colors will mix directly onto the paper. Kids will be able to explore secondary colors by experiment and create landscapes with one, two and three colors. In the wet on dry technique, kids will learn how to make different kinds of trees. We will first create a tree reference chart and use this chart to paint and create beautiful watercolor trees of different shapes. Other crafts activities will also be offered during this camp and other mediums will be explored as, modeling beeswax, crayons, chalk, charcoal, projects with glue… Nadia Logist Navarro has been teaching violin and music to kids and adults for many years. She has been teaching arts & crafts classes to groups of kids since 2011 in the summer camps & homeschooling programs that she and her husband have developped.
