Operated by the Pauw family, The Fernie Fox Hotel is an independent hotel managed by an experienced team of hospitality professionals.
With close connections to the local community we strive to help guests have a true Fernie experience. This means that you’ll get local’s knowledge on the best trails, hikes, places to eat and things to do at different times of the day, week, month or year.
Out and about around town we work to support our community as much as we can; We are proud to support our local community with a budget of $25,000.00 per year for local causes and events including youth sports clubs, trail building, cultural events and student scholarships.
The hotel is run with value and convenience in mind and we invest regularly to ensure our guests have the best experience possible. This means that we are continually adding to our offer. Most recently we have renovated many of our rooms, added a great barbeque and sun deck as well as a modern kitchen and dining room for guests who want to cook their own meals. Furthermore, we now have an electric vehicle charging station. This was installed in 2019 and adds to the growing network of locations where electric vehicles can be charged in the Kootenays. It is the second electric vehicle charging station in Fernie.
